1. Application and review

Submitting this form is an application only. NEPCHAM may review the information provided, verify eligibility, and request clarification or supporting documents. Email and WhatsApp verification confirm access to the contact details supplied; they do not mean the application has been approved.

2. Approval and membership status

Membership begins only after NEPCHAM’s authorised decision-makers approve the application and any applicable membership fee is paid. For a no-fee category, membership begins only after approval. Until membership is active, the applicant has no member voting rights, portal access, or other rights reserved for active members.

3. Membership category, fees, and renewal

The applicant must select a category for which they are eligible. Current annual fees are: General Member HK$500.00; Overseas Member HK$400.00; Associate Member HK$300.00; Student Member HK$200.00; and Honorary Member HK$0.00. Honorary membership is by invitation and is not available through this application. Any applicable fee will be invoiced after approval. No membership-fee invoice is issued for a category with an approved fee of HK$0.00. Membership is subject to the applicable annual renewal requirements and fee.

4. Voting rights

Voting rights depend on the approved membership category and NEPCHAM’s governing rules. Under the current structure, General Members are the voting class. Submitting an application does not grant voting rights.

5. Applicant declarations

The applicant confirms that the information provided is accurate and complete to the best of their knowledge. A person applying on behalf of an organisation confirms they are authorised to do so. The applicant agrees to notify NEPCHAM of material changes to the application or membership contact details.

6. Rules and decisions

Members must comply with NEPCHAM’s Constitution, by-laws, and applicable membership policies. Membership decisions, changes, renewal, resignation, and any suspension or termination are governed by those rules.

7. Separate privacy and optional choices

NEPCHAM handles application information as described in its Privacy Policy. Public-directory listing and promotional messages are optional and require separate choices; accepting these Terms does not opt the applicant into either.
